Thank you for signing up :D I hope you get as much fun out of writing as I will for reading!
I am very easy when it comes to fic. A lot of what I request skews off into darker fic but honestly I will be just as happy with most things so don't think I only want that! Hopefully this letter will be useful, but it is definitely optional suggestions; I would much prefer a fic written by something having fun rather than someone simply trying to tick boxes.
WANTS
I will be upfront: I am a desperate sucker for terrible, bad things to happen to my favourite characters (aka Csevet. Sorry Csevet). There is no limit here, and comfort afterwards is very much loved but not necessary. Rape, death, underage, torture, mutilation, endless seas of misery and hurt and terror, yes yes yes. One or all of these things would be utterly fantastic. Of course: none of them will be just as good. I also love action/adventure, wilderness-survival fic, loyalty, slice-of-life, and characters who are deeply in love or strong in friendship working together to solve problems life throws at them. I do not care particularly if things don't make strict sense wrt canon and I will happily accept handwaves about things like nohecharei shifts and marriage to Csethiro (more on that further down). Totally gratuitous and melodramatic fic is loved! AUs, mundane or otherwise, are always welcome.

My DNW are PWP, explicit sex involving female characters, character-bashing, issue-fic, and voluntary infidelity in main protagonists (cheating Tethimar or Lord Berenar? That's fine. Cheating Cala or Maia? No thanks. Cheating because of mind-control or similar is A-OK in anyone).
SHIPS
I ship Csevet with almost everyone male (and Csethiro in a Csethiro/Maia/Csevet V-shaped relationship), so if you want to write him in a ship I haven't requested, I would be more than happy. I love gen as much as slash/het/poly! Almost any background relationships are good, though I prefer not to have pair-the-spares.
With regards to Csethiro: If she's being written out I'd prefer her written out entirely rather than being awkwardly sidelined and mentioned once or twice whilst Maia has a relationship with someone else. Obviously this doesn't apply if she's a main/supporting character of the fic.
PROMPTS
Relationship: Csevet/Beshelar
I headcanon Csevet to be working class and Beshelar upper class – if you want to go this route, perhaps something on how this affects their relationship, possibly hiccups in early stages? Outside disapproval? (Although please no classism issue-fic). Or how they work around Beshelar's odd shifts and Csevet's long hours – I can't imagine it's easy. Do they ever interact on the job? Does Beshelar ever help Csevet with his piles of correspondence and paperwork, or Csevet help Beshelar train in physical combat? (Has Beshelar ever accidentally hurt Csevet during this training, and what was the fallout, emotional and professional?) Does Maia notice their relationship? I cannot see either of them allowing it to interfere with their jobs, but Maia is very much the observant one. I would absolutely love to see Csevet working with Beshelar (and the other nohecharei) to protect Maia (or someone else) in some kind of emergency situation.
Relationship: Csevet/Tethimar
I'll be the first to admit that Csevet/Tethimar non-con has been done a lot, so while more is always good (very, very good), something different to spice things up would not go amiss. Could Tethimar enlist the help of a rouge maza to mind control Csevet and ruin Maia (and sex)? Csevet & Tethimar antagonistic gen encounters would also be fantastic. Tethimar otherwise trying to get to Maia through Csevet (threats? Kidnap and blackmail?) might be worth exploring. I would love forever something about past Csevet/Tethimar in the context of a present day relationship and how Csevet works through it, with or without the other(s).
Relationship: Csevet/Maia
With Csevet/Maia I prefer something where the relationship is, if not entirely acceptable, not something that's ultimately impossible. Equally Maia & Csevet gen would be loved, where there's heavy loyalty, trust and competence going on. Csevet and Maia in some kind of scenario where they need to rely on each other to survive – assassination attempt gone wrong and they're alone in the wilderness? Csevet has to smuggle Maia through somewhere unfriendly without anyone realising who Maia is? Csevet makes a mistake or is framed and Maia defends him from the unreasonable repercussions? Or that perhaps Maia can't defend Csevet and instead comforts him through the aftermath instead.
